About us

This site is built with love and a very strong desire to support small local farmers, markets, coops and even neighborhood gardeners everywhere who offer organically grown non-GMO produce, uniting them with consumers and building strong, self sustaining communities.  It makes me very angry when I read of how the largest food producers and seed companies are forcing smaller farmers out of business with their monopolistic and downright unethical behavior.  Angry enough to do something about it and fight back the best way I know how with the abilities I have.  Lord knows I'm a lousy gardner! ;-)

This directory is now and shall always remain free to list in and free to use.  I am a one man band for now but may need volunteer help as the directory grows and hopefully takes on a life of its' own.  Please use it regularly and share it with everyone you know through social media and encourage local farmers you know to create their own listings here.  Take back your food and support your local farmers!  They're too valuable to lose.
