The DGS Community Farm, managed by urban agriculture nonprofit Sprout City Farms, is a one-acre organic vegetable farm established in 2011 on the grounds of Denver Green School in partnership with Denver Public Schools. We operate a CSA program, donation-based farm stand, and supply the school cafeteria and school food pantry. Over half (55%) of our harvest goes to food security programs for low-income households. The farm is a platform for food access, education, and community building and we love hosting visitors and volunteers!
